All vents are custom made, but our standard specifications are:
- 100% Kiln Dried Clear Western Red Cedar
- Frame is 2-1/2" wide by 1-1/2" deep
- Edge of frame is routered with a small concave cut
- Louvers are made of planed 1" x 2.5"' clear cedar with rounded, router cut edges
- Louvers are set one at the extreme top, one at the very bottom, and the others spaced approximately 1-1/2" on center
- Joints and Louvers are secured with stainless steel staples
- The back of each vent is screened with 1/16th inch aluminum wire mesh
- All our vents are designed to be flush mounted on your gable and require no special framing.
